As an MBA candidate at BYU, my focus will be finance, marketing, and product development. Post-MBA, I am interested in pivoting to venture capital or a role where I can support businesses with strategic guidance and operational framework. I have always been captivated by the metamorphosis of revolutionary ideas into impactful products and services; now, I am looking for roles where I can be a part of building and backing them.
I am originally from central Illinois and started my career in financial services after earning an economics degree from Grinnell College. Since then, I have built deep expertise in financial crimes compliance and risk management, most recently as a Vice President at JPMorgan Chase. I led high-impact investigations, managed cross-functional teams, and helped develop scalable compliance processes in both startup and global banking environments.
My experience includes both fintech and traditional finance and shows a strong analytical foundation as well as a track record of operational improvement. I am passionate about emerging technologies, startup innovation, and building systems and processes that enable sustainable growth.
Outside of work, I love mountain biking, cooking, studying history and contemplating geopolitics, economics, and capital markets. My wife and I enjoy checking off bucket list items, looking for the best bites, or trying to make our adorable son smile and laugh as much as possible.

JPMorgan Chase | May 2023 - August 2025
Financial Crimes Business Executive, VP
As a Vice President and Financial Crimes Business Executive in JPMorgan Chase’s Strategic Growth Office, I oversaw AML/KYC governance for international consumer banking initiatives. I led a team that managed regulatory exam responses, compliance gap assessments, and policy implementation, while driving coordination across operations, controls, and product development.
I directed the delivery of new products and market expansion while ensuring alignment of key AML/KYC policies and global standards. On a monthly cadence, our team produced and analyzed key risk metrics related to high-risk customers, PEPs, and SAR filings to inform strategic decision-making.
